If you’re looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate, look no further than the Nizandu hot springs near Huatulco, Mexico. These 6 natural hot springs are located in a beautiful jungle setting in the mountains of Oaxaca and offer the perfect way to unwind. In this blog post, we’ll tell you what you need to know about this beautiful area, including how to get there and what to do when you’re there!

Where are Las Termales de Nizandu?

The thermal waters are located outside of Huatulco, Mexico in the town of Santa Cruz Xoxocotlan. To get there, you can drive from Huatulco and the journey takes approximately around 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Santa Cruz Xoxocotlan, head to the main square and look for the signs for Las Termales de Nizandu. The hot springs are located just a short walk from the square.

However to really enjoy your day, I recommend you travel by tour which leaves you free to really enjoy your surroundings and not worry about getting lost. Your professional tour guide will make sure you enjoy all the aspects of the trip and you will be able to rely on his knowledge of the area instead of trying to figure things out by yourself.

For ease and convenience, I highly recommend a TripAdvisor tour. You can get picked up anywhere in the Bahias de Huatulco area and taken to the hot springs with lunch included. Be prepared for a full day as there is some travel time but Lamby Tours Huatulco is highly recommended and will make sure you have a beautiful, relaxing day. Alternatively, Viator Tours is also a well respected company. You can book your tour with them right here.
